This weeks challenge is to draw your watch or some jewellery. This is my attempt. It is done using just the graphite pencil.  

EDM Challenge # 7. Well if this isn't a challenge made for me!! Raid the kitchen cupboard, one of my favourite things to do, draw what you find, another favourite thing to do. I enjoyed this challenge very much. I have done a quick ink sketch and used water colours to add a bit of colour.

I drew this bag for the EDM Challenge. It is not actually my everyday bag, (I dont have one) its my camera bag. It is actually a handbag I bought for my camera because camera bags are too expensive and this one has lots of pockets for the spare battery, charger, mini tripod and other accessories. I often put my purse and phone in with the camera when I'm out at an event or whatever. 

Another EDM Challenge, Toyland-velveteen rabbit. I had to think long and hard about this challenge. It seems I don't have a "velveteen rabbit" or favoutite toy. This is a drawing of a small toy I bought while on holidays recently. I drew it using pastel pencils. This is a nice medium to use. I like the softness and speed of pastels. 

My sister and two nieces gave me this cup for my last birthday. I love how bright and cheery it is and I use it every day. Its done with coloured pencil and watercolour paints.
 

I drew this for the EDM shoe challenge. I love how its turned out although the colours are not the same as the real thing.They are actually a light blue outer and grey inner on black rubber. I bought these sandals 3 years ago at Rays outdoor for $20. They have turned out to be the most comfy things on a hot day. What a bargain!!

EDM Lamp Challenge

This is My drawing for the Lamp Challenge at EDM yahoo group. Its not a desk lamp but it is on my desk!! It's a tea lite lamp I was given one christmas for a chris cringle gift. Its tacky but I like it (the lamp that is)

Playing with blogs

I have just spent ages trying to figure out how to change the template on this new blog. I like trying to figure things out on my own. Its a bit of a challenge. So far the changes haven't taken place so i have to wait and see. I think i've sussed it though.

This card was drawn for Joe Dorn. I love drawing my tools. But I see them everyday. I think the shifter is a bit fat but all in all not a bad drawing! 

One of my first forrays into the world of pastel. I loved playing around with these. Messy but fun to use. Everything happens very quickly with them. 

This is a nine card mural set i made for a mural swap at ATCdownunder. I enjoyed making it and was pleased with the result. 

This dragonfly was part of a bug series of cards I created. I couldn't understand why no one wanted it. I think its fantastic. Maybe I'm biased!!
