I have drawn The picture on the right in graphite of my feet crossed on the coffee table as I draw! The picture on the left is a drawing I did in march this year with charcoal. I really love the charcoal one better than the graphite one. It was drawn in an A4 Sketch book so is much bigger than the pencil one too.

I enjoy seeing these side by side so that I can appreciate your different approaches at different times. I agree with you that it is easier sometimes to work in a larger format
These are great Shelly, and it's really interesting to see the results of two different media side by side. I agree about the charcoal. I think it is the most impressive of the two. I've always been put off by the messiness factor of charcoal, but I might give it another go now.
These are neat...I am glad you posted both of them side by side. They are both nice but my favorite is the charcoal too.
Great drawings!! I agree with you and others about the charcoal version. It is also much more expressive.
What a great job you did with your shading! They are really great.

I like them both! But I so like the charcoal one best. They look like such strong feet, ready to carry you through life!
Great feets! I don't know..my favorite is the graphite one. Maybe cause the legs are longer (?) not sure. Both are excellant tho!

I don't know which one I like best -- I just like them both! It is interesting how the charcoal drawing has the underlying foot running off the page -- I like that for some reason. Great work!
