DD prompt - draw something in pure black and white. I have been wanting to give stippling a go for quite somtime now and this was the perfect opportunity. I used an image from the cover of an old nature magazine, drew it in pencil and then just stippled where I thought I should. I like the result and will give this technique another go soon.

That stippling adds a really interesting texture!
Stippling is fun and quite mindless at times. I've done huge drawings using just stippling. I find it is very good for skin tones. But I only do it when I'm in a relaxed mood. When I am jumpy I can be a little too heavy handed and mess up the dots. I hope you try more stippling and would love to see what you come up with.
