Every Day Matters challenge #26. Draw a vegetable. I have used watercolour pencils to do this one. One of my favourite vegetables, The red capsicum. Much nicer than the green one! I use this in nearly every meal I cook at home (except breakfast) So there is always at least one in the bottom of the fridge. Posted by Picasa

Shelly this is great! I love the hightlights on the top. It looks perfect for a salad - very fresh. I also like the yellow ones. :o)

The red and green work so well together Shelly. This is full of juicy color. They are yummy, especially with sausages, or on sandwiches. :)

Hi
I love your veggie. Oh and try putting in in scrambled eggs one morning with onion and cheese, yummy!

BTW, the apple below looks great too.

Absolutely agree about the superiority of the red. Here in England they often charge more for the red ones, or they sell bargain packs with one green, one red and one yellow or orange - so I'm invariably having to weigh up economy over taste. Great illustration - I've never tried watercolour pencils.

This is really beautiful! The colours are so rich and makes the pepper so tempting! Try it sometime chopped up in an ommlette with ham, mushrooms and green onions.
